- Creating inserts and/or formatting various types of content (text, images, video, or PDFs)
- Controlling the look and functionality of websites with themes, plugins, and widgets
- Creating an e-commerce site with WooCommerce
- Updating chosen themes with HTML and CSS

Written in the PHP programming language, Drupal is considered to be the most scalable and customizable CMS out there. Its global community of developers constantly create new modules to increase Drupal’s functionality and to ensure the CMS remains as revolutionary as possible. To date, that community has produced over 15,000 modules.
Our training is customized based on your Drupal background. You will be trained by seasoned Drupal instructors who can also provide advanced training on Drupal 8, custom module development, and front-end theming.

- BC high school graduate or equivalent from other provinces or countries.
- A minimum C grade or equivalent in Math 11. Students who can’t meet this requirement must take a math upgrading course in advance or concurrently with the first term of the Business Administration Certificate program.
- A minimum C grade or equivalent in English 12. Students whose first language is not English and who did not graduate from a school that does not deliver its curriculum in English can meet this requirement with an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band under 6.0; or an iBT TOEFL minimum score of 71; or a score based on the Common European Framework of B2.
- Students who successfully completed the Business Administration certificate program will be eligible for direct entry to the second year of this program.

Get a solid introduction to Drupal, and learn its most essential features and concepts through hands-on activities in just one day. By the end of this one day course, expect to be familiar with Drupal terminologies and be able to identify how Drupal sites are built.

- Configure and set up a basic Drupal site
- Select, install, and configure modules and themes from Drupal.org
- Create content and content listings, and configure content types
- Manage user roles and accounts
- Manage aliases and URL paths
- Create blocks and place them in a layout

Ruby On Rails
Course duration: 9 hours
Ruby on Rails, or Rails, is a robust, flexible development platform that lets you build complex websites quickly. Major websites like GitHub, Hulu, and Twitter have Rails running under their hood.
If you know just enough HTML and CSS to be dangerous, learning Rails will make you an even greater force to be reckoned with in web development as it will allow you to create web applications that are faster, and more stable and secure.
In this course, you will first learn Ruby on Rails fundamentals, then dive straight into models, controllers, views, and deployment.

This course is a basic introduction to WordPress wherein you will learn everything about the widely popular CMS, from navigating its dashboard and installing plug-ins, to how it can apply SEO techniques and be used for podcasting.
